Compounding
At Longley’s Pharmacy, compounding allows us to create medications tailored just for you. Not every patient fits a one-size-fits-all prescription, so we work closely with your healthcare provider to customize medications in the exact strength and form you need.

Whether it is adjusting a dosage, changing the form of a medication to make it easier to take, or finding an option when commercial products are not available, our goal is to help you feel your best with solutions designed specifically for you.

We take great care in every preparation, using high-quality ingredients, trusted equipment, and precise techniques to ensure safety and consistency you can rely on.
By combining modern technology with the time-honored tradition of compounding, we are proud to continue a personalized approach to care that puts your unique needs first.

Human Compounding
Custom medications tailored to fit each patient's specific needs can be formulated in one of the following: Suspensions, solutions, lollipops, treats, troches, balms, tinctures, sprays, drops, capsules, creams, ointments, gels, powders, shampoos, etc.
-
If you are allergic to an inactive ingredient, such as a preservative or dye, our pharmacist can customize your medication without that ingredient.
-
If your child cannot swallow oral dosage forms, we can make a liquid option.
-
If you need hormone replacement, your body may react better to bio-identical hormone therapy.

Veterinary Compounding
We are a veterinary compounding pharmacy. We work with veterinarians throughout the greater Chattanooga area and North Georgia region. We collaborate with your veterinarian to make medications that suite your animal's specific needs. We also offer custom flavor options not available at other pharmacies. We will work with you to determine the easiest method for medication delivery for your beloved pet(s). We can often take many medications normally prescribed as tablets or capsules and turn them into palatable treats, liquids, or transdermal creams.
