Influenza (flu) Vaccine
The influenza vaccine helps protect against the flu, a contagious respiratory illness that can cause fever, cough, body aches, and serious complications, including pneumonia. The CDC recommends annual flu vaccination for everyone 6 months of age and older, with rare exceptions. The vaccine is updated each year to protect against circulating flu viruses and can help reduce the risk of illness, hospitalization, and severe complications.
Common side effects are generally mild and may include soreness at the injection site, headache, muscle aches, or a low-grade fever.

COVID-19 Vaccine
The COVID-19 vaccine helps protect against coronavirus disease, a contagious respiratory illness that can cause fever, cough, fatigue, and serious complications, including pneumonia and hospitalization. Vaccination is especially important for older adults and individuals with certain underlying health conditions. Current vaccines are updated to target circulating variants and help reduce the risk of severe illness.
Common side effects are generally mild and may include soreness at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, or fever.

Pneumococcal Vaccine
The pneumococcal vaccine helps protect against infections caused by pneumococcal bacteria, which can lead to pneumonia, bloodstream infections, and meningitis. The CDC recommends pneumococcal vaccination for adults 50 years of age and older, as well as younger individuals with certain medical conditions or risk factors. The number and type of doses needed depend on age and vaccination history.
Common side effects are generally mild and may include soreness at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, or fever.

Shingles Vaccine
The shingles vaccine (Shingrix) helps protect against shingles, a painful rash caused by reactivation of the chickenpox virus. Shingles can lead to complications, including long-lasting nerve pain known as postherpetic neuralgia. The CDC recommends two doses for adults 50 years of age and older, as well as adults 19 years and older who have weakened immune systems due to disease or treatment.
Common side effects may include soreness at the injection site, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, fever, or chills. These reactions are usually temporary and resolve within a few days.

RSV Vaccine
The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine helps protect against a common respiratory virus that can cause serious lung infections, including pneumonia and bronchiolitis. The CDC recommends a single dose for adults 75 years of age and older and adults ages 50–74 who are at increased risk of severe RSV illness. RSV vaccination is also recommended during certain pregnancies to help protect newborns.
Common side effects are generally mild and may include soreness at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, or nausea.
